New York New Year's Eve!

Desert Arc is pleased to announce its first New York New Year's Eve celebration, with net proceeds benefitting both Desert Arc and Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center.
On December 31, 2012, Desert Arc with Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center will host New York New Year's Eve -- a New Year's Eve celebration at the Miramonte Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, California. Festivities begin with cocktails at 6 p.m; dancing to live DJ from 8 to 10:30 p.m. The highlight of the evening will be the Ball Drop with champagne toast at 9 p.m. as guests count down to 2013 with New York's Times Square revelers.
Admission includes a buffet dinner at 7 p.m. and the 9 p.m. champagne toast. A no-host bar is available. Tickets are limited and may be purchased by calling Desert Arc at 760-346-1611; reservations are required by 12/27/2012.
Desert Arc is one of the largest and oldest non-profit agencies in the Coachella Valley. Founded in 1959, Desert Arc serves more than 600 adults with disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy, behavioral and other medical conditions. Desert Arc's mission is to "enhance the quality of life and create opportunities for people with disabilities." To accomplish its mission Desert Arc provides vocational and employment training, secures jobs for its clients primarily in landscaping, kitchen and janitorial positions in the community and operates workshops for fulfillment and distribution, as well as a major recycling operation. Desert Arc has a professional staff of 200. Desert Arc operates three facilities-- its main campus on Country Club just east of Monterey in Palm Desert; a satellite operation with 100 clients and 30 staff in Yucca Valley; and a new recycling facility in Indio, employing 30 clients.
