Topics ranging from reducing the risks of breast cancer to breast reconstruction after mastectomy will be the focus of Eisenhower Medical Center’s FREE community lectures offered throughout the month of October — recognized nationally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Specialists in diagnostic radiology, nutrition, radiation oncology and medical oncology will provide important information and updates on topics that matter most to breast cancer patients and survivors. “Eisenhower is proud to offer breast cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones our free community lectures,” says Lilli Mandelik, Director, Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center. “We understand that being diagnosed with cancer, having a loved one diagnosed or going through treatment can be daunting. These lectures provide the most up-to-date information so patients and their families can make informed decisions about their health and treatment options.”
The lectures are FREE and open to the public (see schedule below). Lectures will be held at various locations.
