Scott Gering, MD

Dr. Gering is an excellent surgeon who provides outstanding patient care. He works well with EMC staff and is very supportive of the mission and goals of Eisenhower Medical Center. In addition to his superior clinical skills, Dr. Gering is also very much focused on providing quality care is a cost effective manner.

Recently Dr. Gering piloted our Stryker Remanufactured Endomechanical project in Surgery. His willingness to take on this project and provide clinical feedback has been invaluable. When fully implemented this project has the potential to save the organization over $70,000 per year. Dr. Gering also frequently reviews his surgical processes and supplies and proactively works with the OR and Materials Management staff to look at cost effective alternatives.

We very much appreciate Dr. Gering and his willingness to be a leader at EMC with patient-focused, quality, cost effective care.
