Are you looking for ways that you can stay festive and still give gifts without feeling like you are actually cutting back?

While Americans have begun to see some encouraging improvements in the economy, consumers remain cautious about spending. Shoppers are again looking for ways to creatively stretch their gift-giving dollars and, for many, this means shopping at non-traditional outlets that offer real quality and value at budget-friendly prices.

For decades, Collectors Corner has been the premier resale store at which to shop in the Coachella Valley. Operated by the Eisenhower Medical Center Auxiliary since 1970, Collectors Corner has developed into a unique not-for-profit resale store staffed mainly by volunteers, offering an eclectic mix of elegant furnishings and antiques, top-of-the-line kitchenware, and unique fashions and accessories — all at surprisingly low prices.

“The recession, combined with an increasing green sensitivity, has many shoppers rethinking the idea of giving a previously-used gift for the holidays,” says Cheryl Evans, Manager, Collectors Corner. “Our customers appreciate being able to find gently used household items in good condition and at reasonable prices.”

Pieces of History Now on Sale!

A once in a lifetime opportunity awaits you as items donated by the Dolores Hope Trust are now available for purchase at Collectors Corner.

Stop in to browse or to purchase! From sofas and tables to golf clubs and beautiful Lucite lamps, Collectors Corner is proud to offer pieces of history from two of the valley’s most beloved residents, Bob and Dolores Hope.

A Way to Give and Receive

“Our donors are very important as their generosity benefits not only Eisenhower Medical Center, but also the community,” says Evans.

All proceeds from Collectors Corner directly benefit the programs and services of Eisenhower Medical Center. Collectors Corner relies on donations of quality household items to continue as a valuable resource to Eisenhower Medical Center and the community. Providing state-of-the-art medical equipment, community health education programs and health care services upgrades, to nursing and medical scholarships for valley students and funding for building projects, the community’s donations have been essential to the growth of Eisenhower Medical Center and they are needed now more than ever.

“Because we carry such a variety of merchandise, donations are appreciated and our convenient pick up service is very helpful to those who can donate.”

Donations are accepted year-round and are tax deductible to the extent permitted by the Internal Revenue Code.  The store is pleased to pick up large items. To arrange for donations and for information, please call Collectors Corner at 760-346-1012.
