- The The Mended Hearts, Inc. Support Group will be held at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences on an Ongoing basis.
Support for cardiac patients, their loved ones and caregivers.
The Mended Hearts Inc. support group meets on the second Thursday of each month (October through June) at 6 to 8 p.m. in the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower. Reservations are not required.
Join us at the final two meetings of the year:
Thursday, November 13, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker Barry Hackshaw, MD, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardioloogy, who will speak on "Atrial Fibrillation and Stroke: What You Need to Know."
Wednesday, December 10, 6 to 8 p.m. Guest speaker Lew Rader, heart and kidney transplant survivor, who will speak on "My Journey to Participate in the National Transplant Olympics 2014." Chapter 281 Mended Hearts holds its annual holiday potluck dinner at this final meeting of the year.
