    Dr. Etebar is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon specializing in the correction of spinal deformity and adult degenerative scoliosis, spinal reconstruction due to failed surgery, cancer, and trauma, diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders and tumors, and minimally invasive spinal surgery.

    After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Etebar earned a Masters Degree in Physiology from Georgetown University. He returned to the University of California, Irvine to attend medical school and completed both his internship and residency in General and Neurological Surgery there. Dr. Etebar then completed a Fellowship in Reconstructive Spine Surgery at the University of Florida, Tampa General Hospital.

    Dr. Etebar is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the California Association of Neurological Surgeons, and the California Medical Association, and has co-authored several published articles that have appeared in peer-reviewed periodicals including the Journal of Neurosurgery.

    Dr. Etebar has been recognized among the Top Doctors in America (2002, 2003 and 2004) and among Americas Top Surgeons (2007). Palm Springs Life named Dr. Etebar a Top Doctor in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

    Dr. Etebar has chaired and facilitated numerous professional courses for neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons addressing surgical management of the spine, both locally and nationally.
