Throughout their Family Medicine residency training, residents will have the opportunity to build and maintain their own panel of patients and families, and receive a full range of clinical training.
Our ambulatory care center, the Center for Family Medicine, is located nine miles east from the Eisenhower campus on the second floor of the Eisenhower George and Julia Argyros Health Center. Located in the community of La Quinta, the Center of Family Medicine is ideally situated to serve a diverse population, drawing on young families from the surrounding communities.
From its inception, the Center for Family Medicine was designed to facilitate the integrated practice model and team learning based on the principles of the Patient Centered Medical Home. Residents receive their ambulatory family medicine training utilizing an advanced Medical Home Model of Care. A unique and innovative delivery model of care, residents enjoy the partnership they develop with their patients and families as their medical caregiver, together with their medical home team.
The George and Julia Argyros Health Center is a state of the art health center and provides a broad range of services for the community. In addition to the Center for Family Medicine, resources include a clinical laboratory, diagnostic imaging, Eisenhower Wellness Institute, specialty clinics, and Urgent Care services.
