The 13th Annual Barbara Sinatra Skins POLO Game

This year marks the 13th anniversary of the Barbara Sinatra Skins Polo Game, which will be played on March 25 at the majestic Eldorado Polo Club in Indio. The Skins Polo Game is an exciting event highlighting the tradition-rich sport of polo while proceeds from the event benefit a very worthy cause — the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center at Eisenhower.

Founded in 1986 by Frank and Barbara Sinatra, the Children’s Center has become a safe haven for children who have been physically, sexually and emotionally abused. Services range from psychological/social assessment and individual psychotherapy, to group therapy and a self-esteem program.

The not-for-profit Children’s Center remains committed to Mr. and Mrs. Sinatra’s promise of being there for every child who looks to the Center for help, even if they are unable to pay for treatment, underscoring the importance of fundraisers like the Skins Polo Game. “We are greatly appreciative of the wonderful support the Children’s Center receives from not only the community, but also various businesses and organizations,” says Mrs. Sinatra.

Included in the afternoon festivities will be an alfresco luncheon, 100-horse polo pony parade, fashion show, half-time money run and the Skins Polo Game.
