    The Leapfrog Group — the nation’s leading quality and safety experts — has selected Eisenhower Medical Center as one of the nation’s Top Hospitals for patient care. This coveted recognition is awarded to hospitals for demonstrating excellence in hospital safety and quality as measured through Leapfrog’s annual Hospital Survey. This year, Eisenhower Medical Center was one of 25 California hospitals, and the only hospital in Riverside County to receive this prestigious distinction. read more...
  • Eisenhower Makes Nations’s BEST List for Orthopedic Programs

    Recently, Becker’s Hospital Review published its list of 100 hospitals with great orthopedic programs including Eisenhower Medical Center — the only Coachella Valley hospital to make the list.

    According to Becker’s website, the hospitals included on this list are national leaders in orthopedic care, having received recognition for excellence from various publications, industry-leading organizations and accrediting organizations. read more...

  • BIGHORN Behind a Miracle (BAM) DELIVERS

    For nine years, BIGHORN Behind a Miracle (BAM) has supported cancer patients at Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center by providing roundtrip transportation to and from treatment — totaling more than 9,000 rides. In the past, transportation services were contracted through an outside vendor. With BAM’s very generous donation this year of $850,000, Eisenhower was able to use a portion of this donation to purchase two patient transport vans, dedicated to all cancer patients who need assistance. read more...

  • The Heart of Giving

    There are many different reasons why we are compelled to give of our time, our expertise or financially. Often we give because we are moved to do so — a kindness, an inspiration, shared wisdom, or the plain fact that our life or the life of a loved one was improved or even saved through the actions of others.

    Eisenhower Medical Center has a personal history with philanthropy, beginning with the family and friends of W. Clark Swanson, who, in 1961 while playing golf, died of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Swanson’s family and friends turned their grief into action, raising money and creating a vision to build a hospital of excellence to serve the community and beyond. read more...

    Mark your calendars for Eisenhower Wellness Institute and Desert Health’s "Wellness Worth Watching" Movie Series. We will be screening three documentaries that will entertain you, make you think and maybe even motivate you to make some changes. Each screening will be followed by a special practice or experience inspired by the film.

    Time: Each event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
