Eisenhower Joint Replacement Center
Welcome to the Eisenhower Joint Replacement Center!
Eisenhower Medical Center is committed to providing excellence in clinical care and customer service, which is based upon our vision of setting the standard for excellence in personalized health care and supported by our values of integrity, caring, accountability, respect and excellence.
The philosophy of Eisenhower Joint Replacement Center is based upon the foundation that our patients are motivated to improve the quality of their life. With this in mind, we have developed a program that is designed to get you back on your feet, back at home and back doing the activities that you enjoy as quickly as possible. Our patients are provided with several therapy treatments a day, which is initiated on the day of surgery. Changing into your own clothes by the second day following surgery enhances independence and a return to normalcy.
Most of our patients are discharged from the hospital after three days or less and are able to go directly home with minimal assistance. Because medical studies have shown that joint replacement patients recover best and most quickly when they can go home directly from the hospital, everything in our program is designed to help streamline this process. Scientific studies have also shown that high volume specialty centers have the best outcomes for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery. That is exactly what you will find at the Eisenhower Joint Replacement Center.
Eisenhower Joint Replacement Center is operated by a dedicated care team. Our physicians are among the best in Southern California in terms of caring, excellence and clinical outcomes. Using the most modern technology and surgical techniques allows for a more rapid recovery and longer lasting joint function. The physicians are able to restore the joy of movement to our patients and truly revitalize lives. A Nurse Navigator follows our patients through their surgical experience, ensuring they have the information and support they and their families require to make this experience successful. Our orthopedic nursing staff has received specialized training in assisting orthopedic patients with mobility. Physical and occupational therapists are extremely competent and are able to design specific accelerated therapy programs to help individuals meet their own personal activity goals.
