Joint Replacement Registries
To keep Eisenhower Medical Center and its Total Joint Replacement Program on the cutting edge of new trends and developments in total joint replacements, this fall
Eisenhower Medical Center's Joint Replacement Program will begin participating in two Total Joint Registries:
The AJRR gathers data concerning prosthetic types, component ID numbers, hospital stay, etc. allowing physicians to compare themselves against other physicians across the country. The CJRR is an outcome registry gathering data on consented patients for two (2) years in relation to their whole Total Joint Experience.
Topics such as preoperative visits, length of post operative rehabilitation, assessment in activities of daily living, among other predetermined markers will be evaluated at specific times in a patient's post operative care.
