You’re Not Alone: Understanding the Causes, Prevention, and Treatment of Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) in Adults will be held at the at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences on Tuesday, June 20 2017 from 04:00PM to 05:00PM.

Please join Dr. Ann Stapleton for an update on what causes Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs), how to determine if you have one, how you may be able to prevent them and treatments for UTIs.

Chances are good that you, a friend or a loved one have had a UTI since this is one of the most common infections encountered in adult women and men. Sometimes UTIs come back repeatedly and the symptoms can overlap with other urinary problems that are common in older people. Please join us for an update on what causes UTIs, how to determine if you have one, how you may be able to prevent them, and treatments for UTIs.

Dr. Stapleton has been a physician at a university hospital conducting research, teaching medical students and treating patients. Dr. Stapleton’s research program for the last 25 years has focused on the causes, prevention, and treatment of UTI.
