Introduction to Stress Management and Meditation will be held at the at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences from 09/13/2012 to 09/13/2012 from 06:00PM to 08:00PM.
Join us for this free introductory lecture where you will learn about the importance of stress reduction and how it can help chronic or acute pain, heart disease and hypertension.
Participants will then have the option of participating in an eight-week workshop at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower Medical Center campus, on Thursdays, September 20 through November 8, This workshop series is designed to teach simple but powerful practices to reduce the physical and psychological effects of stress! Each week we will spend time doing gentle Yoga style stretching, meditation, mindfulness practices, and participate in discussions using the mind-body connection to improve our health, relationships, communication and overall well being. Cost of the eight-week series is $260 and includes CDs and workbook, plus an all-day retreat on October 27.
