Join, James Gaede, MD, MA, Board Certified in Family Medicine and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Keck USC School of Medicine, as he discusses new information about wellness based on recent discoveries from the Human Microbiome Project. The Human Microbiome Project seeks to understand the “normal” organisms living in and on the human body (now thought to be more than 50,000 different types!) in the hopes that these “friends” will provide better insight into human development and wellness. This fascinating new science allows for an interesting and unique understanding of the human condition.
