  • Eisenhower Makes Most Beautiful List

Soliant Health, a leading specialty healthcare staffing provider and part of Adecco Group, announced that Eisenhower Medical Center was named America’s Second Most Beautiful Hospital for 2012. In its fourth year, the contest turned this year’s choice over to America and after nearly 170,000 votes, Eisenhower earned the number two spot with nearly 40,000 votes. Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia took the top honor.

“More than a thousand different studies show that when a patient feels more comfortable and less stressed, the healing process is faster,” says David Alexander, president of Soliant Health. Soliant describes Eisenhower Medical Center as a hospital with “a patient-safety-based-design that incorporates evidence-based processes into each patient room… central pavilions with refined color palettes and Renaissance-based art create a modern piazza feel to what is truly one of America’s best-looking medical institutions.”

Eisenhower Medical Center was one of only two California hospitals to make the Most Beautiful list for 2012.
